SUMMARY:February 18 Grid Analytics Community – Enhancing Connectivity Accuracy: Service Point–Meter–Transformer
DESCRIPTION:Join the Grid Analytics Community on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM CT for a presentation with Q&A/open discussion on, “Enhancing Connectivity Accuracy: Service Point–Meter–Transformer” led by Jesus Sanchez-Rivera, Data Technology Administrator and Vivian Arasme, Senior Data Analyst at Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC).\n\nSession Description:\nAccurate connectivity between service points, meters, and transformers is foundational to grid reliability, outage management, and data-driven decision making. In this Grid Analytics Community session, Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) will share how they define and measure connectivity accuracy across GIS, CC&B, and other utility systems, and why eliminating data misalignment is critical for understanding load, customers, and asset performance.\n\n\nOUC will walk through their analytical approach to continuously validating and improving connectivity using tools such as GIS, Alteryx, Snowflake, and Tableau. Attendees will see how this work supports practical use cases like reporting transformer load-to-capacity and verifying customer counts during outages, while also reducing manual data cleanup, avoiding unnecessary truck rolls, and improving planning and reliability workflows.\n \n*UAI Utility Members can register and access all nine of our Analytics Communities via our Community Page ( https://utilityanalytics.com/communities/ ). Not a part of the Grid Analytics Community and want to join this session? Please use our direct link here to request access. You will find the Teams meeting credentials to the upcoming meeting at the top of the feed on this page.
