This presentation introduces CORTEX, a novel GenAI platform designed to unlock actionable insights from unstructured data at scale and low cost. CORTEX addresses the challenge of efficiently processing streaming data for GenAI tasks and delivering structured outputs to data warehouses or cloud storage. Our initial goal was to create a scalable, serverless, and containerized service for generating customer interaction insights. This service leverages GenAI to transform raw data into concise summaries and reports, enabling improved decision-making and streamlined workflows. To achieve this, we built CORTEX, a platform that simplifies the deployment and management of GenAI-powered applications. CORTEX allows users to define GenAI workflows through configuration as code, enabling rapid replication and customization for diverse use cases. The platform integrates with Vertex AI Prompt Management, facilitating prompt versioning, optimization, and experimentation. By abstracting away the complexities of infrastructure management and GenAI integration, CORTEX empowers our organizations to rapidly deploy and scale GenAI solutions, driving significant competitive advantage. We will demonstrate how CORTEX can be used to process audio files, PDFs, and other data types, showcasing its flexibility and ease of use.
