However, many utilities struggle with fragmented data systems, siloed analytics efforts, and a lack of governance, limiting their ability to derive meaningful insights. This session will explore how Austin Energy’s Data Office is designing and implementing a Modern Data Platform (MDP)—a centralized, scalable, and governed data environment that enables secure and efficient data management while laying the groundwork for advanced analytics and future innovations.
