September 17 AAT Community – From Build to Release: Governing Power BI Capacity, Lineage, and Scale
Join the Analytics Architecture & Technology (AAT) Community on Thursday, September 17 at 1:00 PM CT for a presentation with Q&A/open discussion on, “From Build to Release: Governing Power BI Capacity, Lineage, and Scale” led by Claudia Hernandez, Delivery Manager, Customer Analytics and AD Anwar, Data Architect at ConEd.
Session Description:
This session takes you behind the scenes of how we manage Power BI at scale, treating release management as a mature, repeatable process rather than a one-off task. We’ll look at how we structure and balance our 4 licenses to keep performance steady as demand grows, the governance guardrails that keep solutions consistent and secure across teams, and how solutions move from build to production in a controlled, predictable way. Along the way we’ll cover our data lineage efforts so data flows are never a black box, the monitoring dashboards that give real-time visibility into health and usage, and the data size monitoring that keeps datasets lean enough to live within our capacity. You’ll leave with a clear picture of what a grown-up Power BI practice looks like and practical ideas to bring back to your own work.
