Session Description: 
Moving utility data to the cloud is only half the battle; the real challenge is building a foundation capable of supporting advanced AI/ML workloads. In this session, we walk through the evolution of DataCore from a rigid on-premises Cloudera environment to a modern AWS Iceberg Lakehouse. We will discuss the engineering hurdles of this migration and how the shift to Iceberg enabled us to build more reliable data and ML applications—solving for schema evolution, ACID transactions, and multi-engine interoperability at scale.
