May 19 Data Science Community – Testing and Monitoring AI in Utility Applications to Support Predictive Maintenance for Analytics
Join the Data Science Community on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM CT for a presentation with Q&A/open discussion on “Testing and Monitoring AI in Utility Applications to Support Predictive Maintenance for Analytics” led by David Corliss, Principal Data Scientist at Grafham Analytics.
Session Description:
Analytic models have a finite lifespan as, over time, data used to develop the models are less representative of current conditions, challenges, and the changing needs of the utility. This session will demonstrate how to develop and implement a system for monitoring the changing performance of predictive analytics. This periodically updated metric supports a forecast of future prediction performance, enabling the utility team to scheduling model re-fitting before it degrades below the performance standard set for the prediction.
