Microsoft Fabric is transforming Power and Utilities by unifying data across operational and analytical systems, enabling real-time decision-making through its Real-Time Intelligence (RTI) capabilities and providing seamless data access to ai modeling system. Recent updates include advanced RTI monitoring and anomaly detection, plus integration with Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI-driven insights, while GIS enhancements—such as Maps in Fabric and ArcGIS GeoAnalytics—bring spatial context to streaming data for outage prediction, asset tracking, and operational efficiency. Together, these innovations empower utilities to visualize live data, automate responses, and optimize performance at scale.
