Boulder, Colorado, September 24, 2018 – UAI will be hosting the 7th Utility Analytics Week with utility partners Jacksonville Electric Authority, Orlando Utilities Commission, and The Energy Authority this October 24-26 at the Hyatt Grand Cypress in Orland, Florida. The event will showcase presentations from leading utilities within the following tracks: grid operations analytics, analytics strategies, customer analytics, natural gas analytics, and asset & workforce management.

Amongst these breakout sessions, the event will feature keynotes from analytics leaders inside and outside of the utility industry. Exelon Utilities will share its strategy for establishing an enterprise analytics organization, and what it takes to setup such a robust operation. An outside-the-industry look will dive into the science of wait times at Disney Theme Parks from leading statistician Fred Hazelton. Lastly, executive leaders from host utilities will discuss how digitalization has transformed the way that their companies do business.

There are also opportunities to learn and network at Utility Analytics Week. This year UAI is officially launching an educational track that will feature workshops focused on industry challenges—BI and Analytics Roadmap Development, Customer Analytics and the Design & Management of Customer Experience, and Practicing Leadership in the Changing Environment of Utility Analytics. A Women’s Luncheon with a Keynote from Orlando Utilities Commission Chief Customer Officer, Linda Ferrone, will close the event.
